Ellen Lin is a Los Angeles based illustrator and designer who loves making work about sassy animals, the people who love them, fantastical & whimsical landscapes inspired by her travels, and all the humorous & uncomfortable moments of being a human. She has built a lifelong sketchbook practice where she draws people and places from life, which helps with her process. Ellen is skilled in both traditional and digital mediums, her favorites to work with are gouache, watercolors, ink, and markers.
She currently works full time in fashion marketing as a Sr. Web Graphic Designer and spends her free time on her freelance illustration work.
Ellen enjoys figure drawing, reading fantasy & speculative fiction, fashion, exercising, crocheting, and drawing corgi butts.
One of Ellen’s dreams is to illustrate a children book, but for now she finds happiness with illustration, creating stylized portraits, making zines, and expanding her Risograph printing practice.
You can reach Ellen through her contact page for project proposals, vending opportunities or any online shop issues.
